Active exhaust Sound Booster

The operation of the device is based on a high quality speaker in a stainless housing and a module responsible for sound generation. All thanks to communication with the car in the CAN system perfectly synchronizes the sound with the current engine performance, generating realistic V8 engine sound. This system is completely independent of the original exhaust system and does not interfere with it.

Active Sound Booster exhaust is ideal for diesel vehicles. In most such cars, this is the only way to get a truly sporty sound that goes hand in hand with the great achievements of modern drive units. For petrol-powered cars, this is an ideal complement to the original exhaust sound, as well as a solution to combine the sporty sound of the engine with the comfort of travelling on the road.

COTE Automotive products stand out for a simplified assembly procedure with minimal interference with car electronics. The whole is fully controlled by integrated buttons or on-board systems. No additional switches are required. The speaker itself, depending on the model and the available space, can be mounted in the trunk (storage or under the floor) or in the car chassis. The COTE Automotive system is universal and can be installed in virtually any car equipped with a CAN bus (most cars after 2000).

Thanks to Bluetooth communication, a very wide range of exhaust sound adjustment is possible matching the driver's preferences. The dedicated app for Android/iOS devices allows you to set the volume level, sound free revolutions, sound acceleration and engine start characteristics. It is possible to create up to 6 separate sound profiles which can then be switched using on-board car systems such as:

• Choose the Sport/Comfort/ECO driving mode on the onboard computer;

• ESP button, Start/Stop;

• Tempomat buttons;

• Gear change cuffs.

The latest version of the Active Sound Unit driver allows you to choose the type of engine sound, so the car can sound both like a muscle car with a V8 under the mask or e.g. like a race racing V6-set. In addition, special effects are available in the form of shots in the exhaust when releasing gas and changing gears.
