Filtration and construction

Unlike many manufacturers of inlet systems using standard filters, thanks to extensive R & D and investment, we have developed a unique filter design for optimal performance with patented reverse configuration. The filter material is made of a fibre grid tested according to ISO 5011 and meets the requirements of pre-mounted filters. The grid consists of two layers and is completely dry, meaning that there is no risk of damage to the air flow meter due to oil pollution. The filters shall comprise two cones which control the air flow as described below:

Internal cone – facilitates directing the air through the filter and provides an even profile of the air flow rate over the entire filter material length. The cone provides efficient air flow through the filter, without disturbances.

Internal cone – machine-made with a unique profile and optimal shape to facilitate air flow inside, towards the bottom of the cone and smooth flow to further inlet pipes. The cone creates a controlled area of flow disturbance around the outlet tip, providing converging air flow at high speed and air flow profile in the ducts leading to high speed engine

Air flow

The air flow through the filter and air outlet from the intake system to the connecting pipe with the engine is fluid and runs at high speed. In practice, this means that the engine has the possibility of very effective intake of air, which translates into a faster response to the throttle opening as well as an increase in engine power and torque. In the case of turbocharger engines, due to lower air flow resistance, it is possible to achieve early peak charge. Trials have shown that our intake systems significantly reduce the exhaust throttle cycle compared to the pre-mounted systems.

The following diagrams show CFD simulations (calculation fluid mechanics) of current lines and speed distribution for a system with a new and original filter.

Improving Parameters

Tests of Eventuri intake systems with original and new filters on the dynamometer showed an increase in engine power and torque. This allowed us to verify our theoretical models and to prove that new, streamlined filters significantly affect airflow through the intake system. The increase in power compared to the original filters depends on the vehicle. The results of measurements made so far are given below. These graphs compare the Eventuri intake system with the original and new filter. The results for factory intake systems were not compared to which improvements in parameters would be even greater.
