The high performance intercooler WAGNERTUNG has a new type of performance core measuring 192 mm x 156 mm x 128 mm. It was developed specifically for the high requirements of the BMW M5 / M8 engine and offers 75% more external network volume compared to the original intercooler. The applied ratio of the internal and external cooling surface provides maximum heat transfer, while allowing the best possible internal air flow. The cast aluminium terminal boxes were designed in CAD and optimized by CFD simulation. The result is excellent cooling properties at the lowest possible counterpressure.
