During the development of this project, CSF engineers designed and tested many core sizes suitable for this use and decided to opt for an aerodynamically optimized 4.5 inch rod-plate core in the tunnel. A special dispersion coating was also used for the aviation industry, which helps the intercooler system disperse heat at a higher speed. All of this comes down to a significant reduction in air temperature, and an increase in vehicle performance. The assembly of the kit is based on factory mounting points, but requires a small cut of the factory intercooler cover to accommodate such large radiators.
